So, instead of getting on the newest latest diet fad, opt for a gradually weight loss program that focuses on eating healthy paired with moderate exercise. Exercising will release feel good hormones and help improve the body image we all have in our heads.

You are not really getting rid of body fat, rather your body is not retaining as much water as it was previously. Good diets take time and losing more than one or two pounds a week is never going to be fat loss. Remember, burning a pound of fat is burning 3500 calories more than our bodies consumed. There is no way you are under-consuming 35,000 in two weeks.
Bad diets makes it harder for to lose weight. Your metabolism will regulate itself if you are starving your body. Take it nice and easy, remember the story about the tortoise and the hare.
You need to eat the right kinds of food. You can fill yourself with empty calories or you can eat nutrient dense fruits and vegetables. The food you eat gives you the energy needed to exercise in order to burn fat and is used in repairing and building your body. You can't do much physical activity if you feel faint from walking up the stairs. Remember starvation is not a diet.
